New Beginnings

In 2018 I began a journey of self-care to get a better understanding of the skin and hair care products I was using in my daily routine. Through extensive research, I learned about the dangers of products made with chemicals like parabens, phytates, fragrances, and other commonly used ingredients. 

 

What I uncovered was a gamechanger for me. In scaling this learning curve, I’ve made it my business to connect with many exceptional beauty  and lifestyle brands that offer non-toxic, locally sourced products crafted from natural ingredients and follow fair trade and sustainable best practices. 

 

After trying a variety of these products on my my own skin and hair over the last 3 years, I felt compelled to launch GOING GREEN NJ (at my kitchen table) with the goal of showcasing amazing local brands. It is my mission to help you connect with brick & mortar and online organic skin + hair care makers in NJ and beyond that align with my sensibilities, and high standards.
